Human microRNA targets

The human miRNA targets have been revised since the publication of "Human microRNA targets" in PLoS Biology, we have explored the effect of modified rules for scoring miRNA:target matches. The modified rules include: .
  • reducing the number of G:U wobbles
  • increase the high match scale factor from 2 to 4 at position 2-8 from 5' end of miRNA (rather than position 1-11)

Search for your favorite gene or miRNA and view the latest target sites and genes in the context of full UTR alignments (human-mouse and human-rat). This feature is not yet available for the supplementary material of the PLoS paper.

Download the latest list of target genes and target sites. The list is based on modified rules and permissive cutoffs that facilitate the identification of more targets.

NOTE: Due to the permisive cutoffs used, the files are large in size
