The Computational Biology Center (cBio) at MSKCC consists of a vibrant work environment and provides a number of opportunities to contribute to the fields of computational biology and bioinformatics, as well as to basic and clinical research studies at one of the world’s premier cancer research institutes.
cBio is recruiting an interdisciplinary team of specialists with experience in fields such as:
- Computer Science
- Natural Sciences
cBio integrates computational methods, genome information and high-throughput molecular profiling to advance biological research and to discover the organizational principles of complex biological systems. This includes the development of computational simulations of biological processes at different levels of organization and the application of functional genomics and computational biology to help improve cancer diagnostics, prognostics and therapy.
cBio Research Groups bridge basic and clinical research and collaborate in a tri-institutional research program with Rockefeller University and Weill Cornell Medical College.
